COS MATTE CLEAR (2-Pack, Scratch Proof, Matte Clear Screen Ink)
Teikoku COS Matte Clear is a non-glare, semi-matte finish overcoat clear ink with superior anti-scratch properties for treated PET, Polycarbonate or printed surfaces. COS Matte Clear eliminates the need for protective lamination during post-process or transportation.

Mixing, Thinning, Cleaning
♦ Stir well before every use.
♦ Use Z-603 thinner with 20% dilution. If tack free dry is slow, use G-002 or G-003 thinners.
♦ Avoid using other solvents as it may cause blocking and lack of adhesion.
♦ Screen Cleaner N or G-002 thinner is recommended to clean the stencil.
♦ Add 3 parts of 96 Catalyst to 100 parts of ink by weight and mix well. Pot life is about 3 hours at 25°C. Products with an expired pot life may cause foam during printing and will result in less than optimal performance.
♦ Use Z-603 thinner with 20% dilution. If tack free dry is slow, use G-002 or G-003 thinners.

♦ COS Clear has 3 grades of finish. Different meshes are recommended for each grade.

Printing
♦ T 120-225 mesh is recommended. Coverage is 30 m2/kg at T-225 mesh.
Drying & Curing
♦ Heated-drying is required; 60-70 minutes at 60°C, 20-30 minutes at 80°C, 10-15 minutes at 100°C is recommended. If drying temperature is lower than 60°C, ink resistance would not be satisfactory.
Attention
This ink is not recommended for outdoor applications (direct exposure to sunlight, rain, etc.).

♦ Containers should be closed tightly after use, and stored in a cool, dark place. An MSDS for the product is available upon request. Please ask for a copy and read it carefully before handling materials. Use all ink products responsibly by following instructions.
