MIX-HF Screen Ink (2 Pack Halogen Free Ink for back printing of MIR Mirror ink)

MIX-HF ink is back printing ink dedicated for TOC-HF ink and MIR Mirror ink.
Normally, the mirror effect layer that has been formed by printing Mirror ink on PC (polycarbonate) substrate, become dull at the time of back printing by general Screen ink, but back printing by MIX-HF ink does not make mirror effect surface dull.
Also, MIR Mirror ink is easy to be damaged and the resistance is insufficient, but by back printing with MIX-HF ink, the resistance improves and the necessary resistance can be acquired.

• Back printing for mirror effect layer made by printing MIR Mirror ink.
• Back printing for pattern printing with TOC-HF ink and MIR-HF51000 Mirror Silver.

• Improve scratch resistance and ink layer resistance as back printing of MIR Mirror Ink.
• Create high mirror effect and chroma of ink layer as back printing ink for TOC-HF ink and MIR-HF51000 Mirror Silver ink.
• Halogen compounds (Bromine (Br), Chlorine (Cl) are not intentionally used in raw materials.

• Stir well before every use.
• Thinning: adjust by C-002 Solvent（Standard）15％
• Catalyst:
  210 Catalyst 3%
  200 Catalyst 9% (In case of use for Film Insert Molding)
• Usable time (pot life) is 5-8 hours at room temperature（25°C）(Common to 210 Catalyst and 200 Catalyst). Do not use ink expired pot life as it may degrade the performance of the product.
• Avoid excessive thinning and using other solvents as this may decrease mirror effect, printability and adhesion.
• Screen Cleaner N is recommended to clean the stencil.

• Printing order is: 1st Pattern Printing with suitable ink for substrate material, 2nd Mirror ink printing, 3rd back printing with MIX-HF.
• T-300 mesh is recommended. Coverage at T-300 mesh is about 35-45m2/kg
  

• Heated drying is necessary. 80°C-10 minutes is recommended for interim drying.
• 80°C-30minutes is recommended for final drying. （80°C-60 minutes is recommended for usage of molding）
• Drying time varies depending on printed area, mesh of stencil, performance of dryer, and printing surroundings such as room temperature, humidity, etc. Preliminary test and confirmation at actual printing conditions is strongly recommended.

• Refrain from using solvents and catalysts other than specified ones as Halogen components may interfuse.
  Check halogen contents of squeegee rubber, emulsion, substrate and other equipments,
  before using as they may contain halogen components.
• Adhesion, resistance and mirror effect may be changed by differences of substrate, process, printing and drying conditions. Adhesion and resistance test at your site with actual conditions before commercial run is strongly recommended.
• IMB-HF006 Binder (for all sorts of base material) or IMB-HF009 Binder (for PC base material) corresponding to Halogen Free is strongly recommended for using binder at the time of Film Insert Molding. ⇒ Please refer to a separate instruction for use.

Use safety gloves and eyeglasses to protect skin and eyes. If the ink or coating comes in contact with skin, wash with soap and plenty of water. If ink comes in contact with eyes, wash with plenty of water and consult with a doctor. Containers should be closed tightly after use and stored in cool, dark place.

Ink: MIX-HF919 Black Thinning: C-002 Solvent (thinning 15%), 210 Catalyst (mixing 3%)
Printing: T-300 mesh, Box drying at 80°C for 30 minutes
