UV TEC CLEAR & COLOR SERIES (Variety of Finishes for Flexible Materials)

Teikoku UV TEC Clear & Color Series is UV-curable screen printing ink, suitable for different types of plastics with superior resistance. Available in variety of finishes such as gloss, matte, anti-glare, texture, and texture colors. Finish/color combinations are available.

Substrates: PC, soft and rigid PVC, PVC sticker, PVC laminate, all types of treated PET, metalized film, paper.

♦ Thinning is not required for standard applications. However, thinning with RE-804 up to 5% improves the printability at high-speed printing.
♦ Do not use thinner to clean the stencil. “Screen Cleaner N” is recommended to clean the stencil.

♦ Stir well before every use.
♦ UV TEC Clear is available in several different finishes and textures (listed below).
♦ Different finishes may need different mesh.
♦ T-150-420 Monofilament meshes are recommended.
♦ Coverage is about 30-70 m² /kg depending on the mesh.

Standard Colors: 177 Red, 221 Yellow, 391 Blue, 616 White, 791 Green, 821 Violet, 911 Black.
Coloring of clear inks mentioned above is possible by way of special order.

♦ Curability and adhesion of UV TEC ink may be affected by: 1) Lower ink layer's color, 2) Ink layer, 3) Type, grade, color of substrate, 4) Multi layer printing, 5) Type of UV lamp and exposure conditions, 6) Treatment degree of substrate.
♦ Two 80 w/cm metal halide lamps, 15cm lamp height, and 10-15 m/min. belt speed is considered standard. Accumulated energy is about 180-240 mJ/cm².

♦ No additives required for standard applications.
♦ Use SM-278 Defoamer to avoid foaming and repelling, add up to 1%.

Not flammable.
Use safety gloves and eyeglasses to protect skin and eyes. If the ink or coating contacts the skin, wash with plenty of water and soap. In case of contact with the eyes, wash with plenty of water and consult with a doctor. Containers should be tightly closed immediately after use, and stored in a cool, dark place.
MSDS is available. Please ask for a copy, and read it carefully before handling materials. Please follow the instructions.

Our ink products are stabile for 1 year from shipping if stored appropriately. Adhesion testing must be done at your site with actual substrate. Different lots of substrates might show different results. Slight change of application conditions might affect the results.
