INQ-HF Ink Series is environmentally friendly 2 pack ink for IMD/FIM with no intentional use of Halogen compounds (Bromine (Br), Chlorine (Cl)) and its Benzene, Toluene, Xylene, Isophorone free content. Its ink layer has superior flexibility. When Film Insert Molding is done, INQ-HF provides superior heat resistance and adhesion, especially good adhesion to TPU.
Applications & Substrates
Pattern printing on TPU, treated PET film and PC sheet for film insert molding.
Suitable for IMD/FIM applications with PMMA (Acrylic), AS, ABS, PC/ABS resins in combination with IMB binder.
Special Features
Attention
Refrain from using solvents and catalysts other than specified ones as Halogen components may interfuse. Check halogen contents of squeegee rubber, emulsion, substrate and other equipments, before using as they may contain halogen components.
Since some substrates are required annealing (heat treatment), preliminary test with actual substrate is strongly recommended.
Thinning, Stirring, Cleaning
Stir ink in the container well before every use.
To adjust the viscosity, thin with 15-20% of F-003 Solvent. F-002 (fast dry), F-003 (standard), Z-705 (slow dry) may be used as well depending on printing conditions. Avoid using other solvents or excessive thinning as it might cause lack of adhesion to insert-molding resin.

Safety and Handling
Flammable. UN Class: Not included. UN No.: Not included
Use safety gloves and eyeglasses to protect skin and eyes. If the ink or coating contacts the skin, wash with plenty of water and soap. In case of contact with the eyes, wash with plenty of water and consult with a doctor. Containers should be tightly closed immediately after use and stored in a cool, dark place.
MSDS is available. Please ask for a copy, and read it carefully before handling materials. Please follow the instructions carefully.
