VG Screen Ink (Gloss Ink for Acrylic, Soft and Rigid PVC)

Teikoku VG ink is an easy to print ink and suitable for a wide range of plastics such as soft and rigid PVC, acrylic, vinyl-coated paper, top-coated polyester film, ABS, cellulose acetate, CAB, and PC.

♦ Stir well before every use.
♦Use D-002 Thinner (Standard) with 15-20% dilution for standard applications. D-001 (Fast Dry), D-003 (Slow Dry) and D-004 (Extra Slow Dry) are also available with same dilution ratio.
♦ Thin with D-001 thinner up to 40-60%, when applying ink with brush or spray.
♦ Avoid excessive thinning and avoid using other solvents as this may cause blocking and lack of adhesion .
♦ "Screen Cleaner N" or D-002 Thinner are recommended to clean the stencil.

♦ Monofilament 150-300 mesh is suitable as stencil. Coverage is 20-28 m² /kg at 230 mesh.

♦ Drying time may change depending on substrate. Tack free drying time for soft PVC at room temperature is about 3-5 minutes while it is 7-10 minutes for rigid PVC or acrylic. Heated drying is highly recommended.

Use safety gloves and eyeglasses to protect skin and eyes. If the ink or coating contacts the skin, wash with plenty of water and soap. In case of contact with the eyes, wash with plenty of water and consult with a doctor. Containers should be tightly closed immediately after use, and stored in a cool, dark place.

Adhesion testing must be done at your site with actual substrate before commercial run. There may be a difference between substrates of different manufacturers and even between different batches from the same supplier.

Above-mentioned tests were done after leaving the object for 168 hrs. at room temperature. These test results are only for our lab purposes. We do not guarantee the results.
