MAB Ink
(2 Pack Ink for Hard Coated Acrylics)

Hard coated plastic plates are widely used for the windows of electronic games, cellular phones,
flat-panel displays and other electronics. In order for these windows to be scratch-resistant, they are
manufactured using hard coated plastics, but it is difficult to obtain good adhesion to these
hard-coated surfaces with traditional screen inks.
Teikoku Printing Ink has developed a new product called "MAB Ink" to address the above problem.
Teikoku Printing Ink introduces MAB Ink as # 114 and # 117 in this document..

1. Applications

Printing on hard-coated plastic windows of electronic games, cellular phones, flat-panel displays and other electronics.

2. Special Features

Good adhesion to hard coated surfaces.
Flexible and tough; suitable to post forming (such as cutting).
Excellent resistance. (See attached table 1)

4. Printing and Drying

Stencil:	T-200-300 mesh for solid colors. T-180-225 mesh for metallic or pearl inks. If the pigment size of a metallic ink or pearl ink is small enough, it may be printed with 250-300 mesh stencil.
Catalyst:	210 catalyst. 5 parts of catalyst to 100 parts of ink.
Thinning:	10-20% with G-001 solvent (fast dry) to G-004 solvent (slow dry)
Pot life:	8 hours
Drying:	30 minutes at 80°C.

Test was done after 24 hours seasoning and after 30 min. at 80°C drying.
