IRX-HF Screen Ink (IR transmittable ink for Glass)

IRX-HF Screen Ink is environmentally-friendly, IR transmittable, two pack type screen ink for Glass,  which does not intentionally use Halogen (chlorine<Cl>, bromine<Br>) compound in raw materials and does not contain Benzene, Toluene, Xylene, Isophorone, and Cyclohexanone, etc.  It provides excellent finish in transparency and leveling compared with the current GLS-HF-base IR ink.

• Printing on glass (Receiving window of infrared remote control for Cellular Phones, PC and Home Appliances, etc.)

• There is no intentional use of Halogen (chlorine<Cl>, bromine<Br>) compound in raw materials. （Cl ≦900ppm、Br ≦900ppm、Cl＋Br ≦1500ppm）
• Compared with IR ink of GLS-HF ink series, it is possible to create printed substrate with xcellent transparency and leveling.
• It does not contain environmentally hazardous substances such as Benzene, Toluene, Xylene, Isophorone, and Cyclohexanone, etc.

• Defoamers may separate as time goes on.  Stir well before every use.
• Use Z-705 SOLVENT as dilution solvent by 5-10%.
• Add GLS GLASS PROMOTER in a ratio of 0.5 to 100 of ink by weight and mix well before use.  It is not necessary to add Catalyst.
• Usable time (pot life) is 6 hours at room temperature.
  Gelatinization does not occur even after 6 hours have passed, but adhesion and resistance may deteriorate.  Mix the amount to be used only.
• Screen Cleaner N is recommended to clean the stencil.

• T-300～350 mesh is recommended.

• Heated drying is required at 150℃ for 30 minutes or more to maintain adhesion and other resistance.

• We provide color matching product according to the requested transmittance rate.
  HF001 VICTORIA is available for adjusting density at the time of printing.
  To use HF001 VICTORIA, be sure to measure and confirm transmittance rate before
  printing.

• Flammable.   UN Class: Not included.   UN No.: Not classified in the definition.

• GLS Glass Promoter: Add 0.5% so as to adhere to glass.

• IRX-HF Ink cannot be mixed with other ink series.
• There is no problem of multilayer printing with GLS-HF Ink. In case of multilayer printing with the other ink series, make sure of adhesion and resistances in advance.
• Refrain from using solvents and additives other than specified ones to prevent Interfusion of Halogen compounds.
• Check squeegee rubber, emulsion, substrate and other equipments, etc. before use as they may contain halogen components.
• Ink Shelf Life:  Stable for 6 months after manufacturing. (For 12 months for HF001 VICTORIA)
• Confirmation before production:  Adhesion or resistances may change depending on the difference in substrate, manufacturing process, printing and drying condition. Be sure to confirm adhesion and resistances before commercial printing.

• Use safety gloves and eyeglasses to protect skin and eyes.  If the ink comes in contact with skin, wash thoroughly with soap and plenty of water.  If ink comes in contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and consult with a doctor.
• Containers should be closed tightly after use and stored in cool, dark place.
• SDS is available upon request. Please request a copy and read it carefully before handling materials. Follow instructions and use all ink products responsibly.

• Drying condition: 150℃, 30 minutes  * Substrate: Glass plate  * Stencil mesh: T-350 Mesh
• Ink:  IRX-HF base ink.  Z-705 SOLVENT: 5% thinning.  Add GLS Glass promoter: 0.5%
