STELLA Screen Ink

Teikoku STELLA is a screen printing ink with brighter pearl pigments than previous inks. Its color is changeable depending on viewing angle. Stella ink is applicable to various substrates with good weather resistance. It is suitable for electric appliances and car accessories.

Applications

♦ Car accessories, cellular phones, game consoles, electronic appliances, graphics, etc.

Special Features

♦ Better brightness and color saturation than previous inks.
♦ Stronger effect can be expected on black printed background. Silver, blue and red backgrounds are also recommended.

Base Ink

♦ This ink is applicable to all Teikoku screen printing inks.

Thinning/Catalyst/Cleaning

♦ Stir well before every use, as pigments settle easily.
♦ Use respective ink's thinner or reducer. Refer to respective ink's information sheet. Dilution ratio for solvent type inks is 15-20%.
“Screen Cleaner N” is recommended to clean the stencil.

Printing

♦ Monofilament 200-250 mesh is suitable as stencil for solvent inks.
♦ Monofilament 250-300 mesh is suitable as stencil for UV inks.
♦ Coverage is about 30-40 m2 /kg. with T-250 mesh.

Safety and Handling

Flammability is as per base ink.
Use safety gloves and eyeglasses to protect skin and eyes. If the ink or coating contacts the skin, wash with plenty of water and soap. In case of contact with the eyes, wash with plenty of water and consult with a doctor. Containers should be tightly closed immediately after use, and stored in a dark and cool place. MSDS is available. Please ask for a copy, and read it carefully before handling materials. Please follow the instructions.
